Today we celebrate a remarkable milestone! Our CEO, Dr. Sakumzi graduated from The University of the Western Cape with his PhD degree. His research explores a critical and often under-examined space: Accountability among male gender activists working to address GBV in South Africa.
Through powerful qualitative insights, his study examines how men in this field navigate accountability within deeply rooted systems of patriarchy and violent masculinity. It highlights the ongoing work of unlearning harmful norms. This work opens the door for more honest, caring and transformative engagement.
