Wow can you believe it's been a whole 12 months - but I am back and ready to face the new year head on and strong.

2023 has undoubtedly been one of the toughest years I can remember (yes even harder than that time we suffered through covid, don't come for me! 😬 ). I am eternally grateful for all of you who stuck around during my year of silence, and I hope to bring you some beautiful and insightful things in 2024.


Looking back at 2023 I took a much needed break from the design world, unexpectedly started a new job as a medical practice manager, said goodbye to my gran, had a trip to Cape Town and made some very nutritious food.

So while I am still adjusting to all that 2023 threw at me, I am definitely feeling excited and cautiously optimistic about what the future has in store for me.


What I've learned is that you can't always control everything and it doesn't help to dwindle on the things you can't control or change. But you can control the way you react to them, and how you take time to recover from them. Be gentle with yourself this year, take time for self care and take a break if you need one so you can continue to show up for what is truly important to you.
