📢 Big changes for complexes & estates in South Africa!

A new CSOS Practice Directive (from 18 July 2025) means trustees and managing agents must follow stricter rules – or face BIG trouble.

🚫 No unfair or discriminatory rules – like banning cats but not dogs, restricting domestic workers, or forcing residents to use a certain estate agent.
đź’° Fines must be fair, smaller than the monthly levy, and follow proper dispute steps.
đź“„ All schemes must be fully compliant with CSOS, POPI, and other legal requirements.
