Business Building Symposium

The inaugural Business Building Symposium will launch in East London on 19 and 20 April 2023 at the ELICC, followed by further symposia in Gqheberha in May, Mthatha in June and George in August.

The Business Building Symposia is a practical initiative that has a vision to inspire a work-and opportunity-starved community to become active economic agents and to freshly empower small business to grow and thereby increase jobs and income within a socio-economically depressed South African population.

We will collaborate with partners and stakeholders in each region of the Eastern Cape Province as well as the Southern Cape to provide an opportunity to hear speakers, subject matter experts and local businesses.

In order to achieve the objectives of the Business Building Symposia and expose entrepreneurs, job seekers and small businesses to opportunities and practical resources to start or grow, the Business Building Symposia, will include the following core elements:
1. Exhibition for up to 200 organisations
2. Match Making/Networking/Collaboration/One-on-One sessions
3. Knowledge – sharing sessions through focussed workshops
