Not every race goes to plan—and that’s okay.
Yesterday started well. I was on pace and feeling strong, then one wrong step flared up my knee and ended my shot at a sub-2 finish.
So I switched to run/walk and focused on one thing: finishing.
⏱️ Final time: 2:09:21
Not the result I wanted, but a reminder that resilience matters just as much as speed. Some days the win is simply not quitting.
Recovery starts now, and I’ll be back on the start line at the end of August.
Onwards and upwards. 💪🏃♀️
