This high end residential concept in Plettenberg Bay explores what happens when you step beyond the expected. Rather than relying on safe, neutral palettes, the design introduces bold accents of burnt orange and rich green, carried consistently throughout the home to create a visual thread that connects each space.

The result is a home with a strong identity. The colours aren't used everywhere, but they appear deliberately in joinery, feature walls, furnishings and finishes, creating moments of surprise while maintaining balance and sophistication. It's proof that a carefully selected palette can become part of the architecture itself.

These aren't combinations most homeowners would naturally choose, and that's where thoughtful interior design makes all the difference. An experienced designer can see the bigger picture, pairing colours, materials and textures in ways that feel cohesive, timeless and uniquely personal.

Our highly detailed 3D visualisations allow you to experience these ideas long before construction begins. Every material, finish, fitting and colour is carefully represented, giving you an accurate preview of the completed space and the confidence to embrace design possibilities you may never have considered.

At DMV Interior Design, we don't simply help you choose finishes. We help you see what's possible. Come see what's possible with us.

For decades, workplaces were designed around a simple idea. Desks for individual work and boardrooms for meetings. But the way we work has changed.

Today's workplaces require spaces that support a variety of tasks throughout the day. Focused work. Informal collaboration. Creative thinking. Quick conversations. Moments to pause and reset.

This is where break-away spaces play an important role.

They create opportunities for people to move away from their desks, engage with colleagues in a more relaxed setting, and approach challenges from a different perspective. Often, some of the most valuable conversations happen outside the formal meeting room.

Beyond collaboration, these spaces also contribute to employee wellbeing. A change of environment, even for a short period, can help reduce mental fatigue and improve focus when returning to the task at hand.

The most successful workplaces understand that productivity is not driven by a single type of space. It comes from providing people with the right environment for the task at hand. Good workplace design is not about maximising floor area. It is about creating spaces that support the way people work and help them perform at their best.

Does your workplace offer more than just desks and meeting rooms? It might be time to rethink how your space supports your team.
