𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐲𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠: 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨
𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐲𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠 is currently doing his apprenticeship at Magic Auto. He has always loved cars and first started tinkering around on his mom’s car at home. A chance collection of a part for a friend took him to Magic Auto and the rest is history. He was offered a job and is starting his apprenticeship shortly. He still dreams of being a pilot one day but that is very expensive. So in the interim, he can use his mechanical trade to help finance his flying dream and he will have a solid trade to always fall back on.

𝐀𝐧 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐞𝐫’𝐬 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞: 𝐓𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧, 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨
𝐓𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐞 𝐁𝐨𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧 has owned his business, Magic Auto, for the last 25 years and is the first person to tell you it is impossible to do all the work yourself. He is passionate about encouraging more young people into the sector. His son, together with three other apprentices, is currently employed at Magic Auto. “We have a shortage of artisans with knowledge. If you love cars then this is the place for you and a TVET qualification is your starting point,” says Tollie.

𝐏𝐒𝐋 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐬 𝐦𝐨𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜
Goalkeeper 𝐓𝐚𝐩𝐮𝐰𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢 of Highlands Park has swapped his goalkeeping gloves for a blue overall and has a bright future ahead. He now runs a motor workshop in Kempton Park. Many professional sportsmen often struggle to make a living when they are not playing professionally. Luckily Tapuwa found his passion and is loving the new challenges his workshop brings.
