I’m fully aware of everything that needs to be done — but instead of rushing around trying to tick it all off, I’m choosing to be present and calm.

And funny enough, things still get done.

In the little gaps of the day.
While my toddler feels seen.
While my husband gets my attention.

Not everything needs urgency.

I haven’t been very present here lately, and that’s okay. December didn’t quite go according to plan, but I’m stepping into this new year with grace, fresh perspective, and a whole lot of hope.

This year, I’m trusting God completely — to guide me, to help me make the right decisions, and to carry me through business, personal life, and everything in between. I’m placing The Little Yellow in His hands and trusting Him with the journey ahead.

Sewing has always lived quietly in the back of my mind. It’s something I’ve wanted to do for as long as I can remember. Last year, I finally found the confidence to try — to experiment, to learn, to create. And this year, I’m diving in wholeheartedly. I’m so excited to bring you truly unique, handmade pieces made with intention, passion, and a whole lot of love.

These beautiful vintage patterns were kindly loaned to me by my husband’s boss’s wife, who once sewed all her own children’s clothes. Sewing runs deep in my family too — my granny sewed, my mom sewed — and I feel incredibly privileged to be surrounded by this legacy and to now hold it in my hands. I cannot wait to bring these patterns to life.

As we start this new year, my hope for you is simple: peace that doesn’t always make sense, joy that feels overwhelming in the best way, and a year filled with goodness.

Thank you for your support, your love, and your patience. I’m so excited for what this year holds — including the launch of our website later this month — and I can’t wait to walk this journey with you.

For my son’s first birthday, I saw an art student advertising hand-painted kids’ t-shirts and thought it was such a special way to mark the moment. So I had one made just for him — and that was meant to be a once-off.

But traditions have a funny way of finding you 💛

This year, for his second birthday, I picked up the paintbrush myself.
No art degree. No perfect lines. Just a mama, a blank t-shirt, and a whole lot of love.

What started as a once-off idea has quietly become something I never want to stop doing — a wearable memory for each birthday, painted with intention and heart.
