𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝟯 𝗡𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲

Just before 11h00 on 8 November 2025, 𝗦.𝗧.𝗔.𝗥.𝗧. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲 and 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 were alerted to a medical emergency on the N3 near Westville.

A construction worker had suffered a sudden illness while working on scaffolding beneath a bridge.

𝗦.𝗧.𝗔.𝗥.𝗧. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲’𝘀 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 and 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘀 worked together to safely stabilise and carefully bring the patient up onto the roadside, using a specialised rope system and rescue equipment.

Once on the roadside, the patient was handed over to an awaiting Red Line Response ambulance and transported to hospital for further care.
