Introducing GlycoTech hotDIP

GlycoTech HOTdip Polyurethane based oil is suitable for all hot dip applications. Our customers have found it suitable, safe and effective for bee hives, palettes, roof trusses, poles etc. Hot dipping is another type of treatment in which timber is dipped directly in the heated solution. Hence, the solution pe*****tes the timber better than brushing or spraying.

Dipping involves immersing the timber in a preservative solution for a specified period, allowing the chemicals to pe*****te the wood. Our GlycoTech HOTdip has a specific gravity of 1.025kg per litre which means it is heavier than water and therefore displaces water and moisture trapped in the timber.

Heating the GlycoTech HOTdip to between 100 and 120 (maximum) degrees centigrade enhances this action ensuring the deep pe*******on and treatment of the timber.
