Shark Research Unit

Today’s one of those busy, rewarding days—while some of our team is out in the field diving and capturing photos, others are hard at work behind the scenes, processing images and updating our turtle ID database.
Each photo and video is catalogued by date and location, with details such as species, s*x, size class, behavior, and any visible tags or injuries.

We routinely document three species: the green turtle (Chelonia mydas), loggerhead (Caretta caretta), and hawksbill (Eretmochelys imbricata).

Every sighting adds to our understanding and conservation efforts.
