We are looking for a financial wellness consultant with a passion to serve people in helping them resolve their personal finance problems and providing business development services

The perfect candidate would have the following attributes:

- A registered debt counselor with proven track record of helping clients manage their debts
- Excellent and proven track record in client services
- Knowledge and proven experience of personal finance concepts like budgeting, credit report analysis, saving, investing, taxation and basic estate planning
- High-Level knowledge of how wellness programs work
- Ability to work independently and blend well with a team
- Administrative abilities and high attention to detail
- More than 2 years of experience working in a debt counseling environment
- Knowledge of the national credit act
- The ability to negotiate with creditors
- Ability restructure finances to help enhance the client's financial position
- Experience in working on a debt management system
- Experience working in the NCR's debt help system
- Ability to prepare debt counseling court documents an added advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use Microsoft packages
- Excellent Presentation Skills and the ability to run a formal financial literacy workshop to people from different backgrounds
- Ability to speak local languages especially South Sotho, Zulu, and English
- Proven track record of building new business relationships with the objective of selling additional services to either existing or new clients

Academic:

- Diploma in Debt Counselling an advantage
- A commerce-related post-matric qualification would be relevant
- Paralegal law diploma an even better advantage

Responsibilities:

- The candidate will be stationed at a client's premises in Sasolburg 3 days a week where they will engage one on one with clients to help resolve their personal finance matters
- Follow up with client cases and provided any needed support
- They will provide weekly reports and quarterly reports to direct manager and client
- Provide debt restructuring services including credit report improvement, budgeting and debt counseling
- They will be an ambassador of the brand onsite by behaving professionally and managing relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Prepare court documents for debt counseling cases
- Follow up with creditors and negotiate better terms on behalf of struggling clients
- Follow up with leads
- Identify opportunities to improve processes to make our service to clients better
- Provide business development services by identifying employers and wellness companies our services can be provided

PS: Drivers license and own transport a prerequisite.
