Wrapping up the week with another successful Capacity Building Workshop!
In continued partnership with KHETHA Career Development Services, MICT SETA hosted a workshop at Flavius Mareka TVET College in Sasolburg, Free State.

The workshop equips Career Development Practitioners, Educators, and Lecturers with current MICT sector insights and practical tools to better support learners as they navigate education, skills development, and career pathways - built around three core pillars:
Learning. Collaboration. Empowerment.

Together with DHET-KHETHA, MICT SETA remains committed to building the capacity of those who shape tomorrow's workforce. Empowering those who empower others!

A significant milestone for the Post-School Education and Training (PSET) sector.

Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Training, Mr Yusuf Cassim, visited the MICT SETA offices in Midrand - welcomed by Board Chairperson Ms Emma Mphahlele and Acting CEO Ms Bontle Mokoena, Board Members, Senior Management, and MICT SETA employees.

The engagement centred on the transition of the Deputy Minister's Helpdesk from a manual operation to a digitally enhanced service. The MICT SETA team presented their proposed digital solution, including a live demonstration of how the platform will improve access to information, advice, and support for students and stakeholders across the PSET sector.

This partnership marks an important step toward a faster, smarter, and more accessible Helpdesk - putting people first through innovation.
