Job Description
We are looking for an experienced website developer to join our Web Design team within our company. We are looking for someone with much experience designing and developing a highly efficient website and you will be working mainly on CMS.

You will mostly work on WordPress development so you would need to be seasoned in PHP and surrounding technologies.

We are looking for someone with 2 to 3 years experience + relevant qualifications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred.

Requirements:

National Diploma or equivalent qualification
Minimum 1-2 years of experience
Development or design of new WordPress websites and/or features optimised for improved search and usability performance.
Experience designing and developing responsive design websites.
Proficient in HTML, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, and Photoshop), CSS & WordPress
Significant work experience in PHP development
Strong JavaScript skills
Google Analytics and Google apps understanding
Business Analysis and Testing knowledge will be an added advantage.
Graphic Design skills will be an added advantage. (Adobe Creative Suite)
MySQL and knowledge of database systems
Short-listed candidates will be required to provide links or files of previous web development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Creating websites using standard HTML/Wordpress and CSS practices
Enhance services within the WordPress Multisite environment
Working with the graphic and web design & development team
Researching different software programs, maintaining software documentation
Professional experience with WordPress plugin development, architecture, and standards.
Exceptional troubleshooting skills.
Maintaining or updating websites in line with SEO & Usability website optimisation guidelines.
Regular speed tests on websites (including server and client-side) and reporting results, and recommendations for enhancements to production manager.
Application of tracking code (e.g. Google Analytics) across media channels, including website tracking and related conversion tracking tools.
Salary
Market-related depending on experience.
