On leadership - Wiseman Desmond says - To be ungovernable, unleadable, insubmissive, to want to be a boss or your own boss, in business, family or otherwise, because you know more than all and cannot be led or submit to any authority or higher office of command is not a mark of good leadership. You cannot be a good leader unless you are a good servant, or unless you yourself can be led. A good leader calculates carefully the benefits of him employing and him being employed and chooses the most favourable (to himself and others) in terms of rewards and usefulness, as well as what he can impart and what he can learn to impart later. The leader is the one who deserves control an undertaking because of his scoring on the matrix of skills/competence, influence, honesty, integrity, vision, power, resources, ability to direct, lead, control, inspire, reward and correct/rebuke, and many other things and yet most of us claim leadership/the right to lead because we possess only one of these.

Develop a reputation for speed and quality. People who have a reputation for moving quickly attract more and more opportunities and possibilities to them. They get more and more chances to do more and more things faster than people who only do the job when then they get round to it.

Those who are patient enough to endure the beginning of their business and its growth are able to create a legacy forever.
