Taking Territory Snippets: The Power of Small Actions

When I was a teenager at secondary school, I discipled quite a number of my schoolmates with absolutely zero expectation of reward. I was just doing this because that is what the Lord commanded us to do - to make disciples of all nations. At that time, I discipled a young man and after I left the school we lost touch.

Long story short, we reconnected a few years ago and started developing a business friendship. This year, I asked him to mentor me in business. He runs a company that is worth R16bn with another project in the works valued at R13bn. This young man, who had lost both parents and found comfort in Christ and in my discipleship is going to be one of the wealthiest people on the African continent - and he is now my mentor, which means my own business ventures are going to reach new levels.

That is the power of small actions - the power of seed. What you do now will come to uplift you 20 yrs from now. Naomi adopted Ruth and groomed her and years later, Ruth became Naomi's salvation.

This year of Taking Territory, choose small actions and invest in them intentionally. Cultivate relationships intentionally. Give into the work of God deliberately. Find something to do in the house of God. Every seed will yield a harvest that will help you take territory one day.
