Meditation of the day, December 11, 2025 - Yes & Amen with Helder Lucas

Anxiety is a weight that tries to hold our minds captive, accelerate our hearts, and steal our peace… but God never called us to live burdened.

The Word clearly says:
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” — 1 Peter 5:7

This means that we don't need to live suffocated by what God has already offered to carry.

Today, God calls you to a true surrender:
Surrender your fear… and receive rest.
Surrender your control… and receive direction.
Surrender your burden… and receive peace.

Son, daughter, anxiety loses its power when you learn to rest in God's care.

Just say: Yes and Amen.

Yes to trust.
Amen to rest in the Father's arms.

PRAYER:
Dear Father,

today I place before You all the anxiety that tries to dominate my mind and my heart.

I believe in Your Word that says: “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”

Take, Lord, every worry, every fear, every thought that keeps me awake at night.

I surrender everything into Your hands because I know that Your care is perfect.

Fill me now with peace, rest, and confidence.
Guard my heart and guide my steps.

I say Yes to Your will…
And I say Amen to Your care that never fails.
