With Virucidal testing not available in South Africa, we were forced to seek certification in the United Kingdom. We are proud to have accomplished a successful test under EN13610 - Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of virucidal activity against bacteriophages of chemical disinfectants used in food and industrial areas. The test species were Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis Bacteriophage P001 - log 4.38 reduction and Lactococcus lactis subsp. lactis Bacteriophage P008 - log 4.2 reduction after 60 seconds.

Bacteriophage's are virus' that infect bacteria and archaea. This particular species is the non-enveloped type and therefor considered more robust that Sars-CoV-2 which is enveloped.
