KFC-Style Chicken Seasoning

Ingredients

2 tbsp paprika

1 tbsp garlic powder

1 tbsp onion powder

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp dried thyme

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp white pepper

1 tsp ground ginger

1 tsp mustard powder

1 tsp celery salt

2 tsp salt

1/2 tsp dried basil

1/2 tsp cayenne pepper

Method

1. Mix

Combine all spices in a bowl.
Mix thoroughly until evenly blended.

2. Store

Transfer to an airtight container.
Store in a cool, dry place.

Usage

Use 1–2 tbsp seasoning per 1 lb (500 g) chicken for marination or coating.

Yield

Approx. 6–7 tbsp seasoning mix
