✅ Registered funeral homes that commit themselves to a code of ethics belong to associations that hold them accountable.
✅ Get peace of mind by choosing an institution that belongs to the NFDA (National Funeral Directors Association) and the FFSA (Funeral Federation of South Africa).
✅ Each registered mortuary must also have a COC (Certificate of Competence).
✅ Does the funeral home have a physical premises? If not, how can you be assured where the deceased will be taken?
