Dear Germiston Resident, CoE is aware of the power failure that has affected the following areas: Malvern East, Wychwood, Primrose Hill, Dania Park, Simmerfield, Primrose, Dawnview, Fisher Hill, Solheim, Wilbart, Meadowbrook, Meadowdale, Sunnyridge, Sunnyrock, Symhurst, Gerdview, Homestead, Rustavia, Barvallen, Woodmere, Marlands, Primrose East, Germiston East, Tedstoneville, Energy Dept is aware of outages affecting suburbs in Germiston north and surroundings due to Eskom Croydon 132 kV cable theft supplying Germiston North Primary substation that happened at early hours of today, 28 August 2025, The City will be providing regular updates as and when received from Eskom, No Ert as yet, The City apologises for inconvenience caused.

Albis will be closed on Monday 16 June 2025.
