Today we celebrate a major milestone for ACTOM — the official relaunch of the SBG- Smit Power Matla factory in Pretoria West! 🎉
This moment reflects our renewed purpose, commitment to local investment, and drive to advance South Africa’s industrial sector.
We were honoured to welcome Executive Mayor Dr. Nasiphi Moya, who highlighted the importance of this achievement for the City of Tshwane and the broader manufacturing landscape.
With this relaunch, the facility begins local transformer production, powered by the expertise and dedication of the ACTOM Power Transformers team.
This is more than a reopening, it’s about strengthening energy infrastructure, boosting local capabilities, and making a sustainable impact.
Here’s to innovation, localisation, and powering Africa’s future. 🔌⚡
