Holiness starts with the way we see, to the pure everything is pure.
Matthew 5:8
8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Purity is first and foremost a way of seeing. A way of seeing that is not obsessed with what the enemy is doing. I am obsessed with the Father and His Holiness.
John 5:19-20
19 Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed.

Only in the awareness of His all-consuming Holiness can we truly grasp the depth of His love for us.
Light and darkness are mutually exclusive. God could not compromise on His standard of Holiness by making sin less sinful. He covered us those who were in the dark in Jesus, and because we are covered by Jesus; God does not see our darkness anymore.
Hebrews 4:16
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.
