ππ πππππ?
Well if you haven't, you probably are now.
Turns out just like humans, they lose their "tan".
If they are kept in constant darkness, their chromatophores are unable to produce more pigment, which means that once the colours that they had to start with start to fade, their bodies (cells) will be unable to produce more.

A gravel bed is an irrigated bed or pile of gravel where bare root or washed containerized stock is placed and safely held for up to 3-6 months.
This system has been in use at commercial nurseries, municipalities, and universities for over 20 years.
ACI had the pleasure to install one for our client in the Western Cape.
Not only can it be used for a normal gravel bed system, it can be used as a deep water culture where you are able to fill it up with water and plant in Styrofoam for easy hydroponics.
