Potager Pottery

My biggest fan and I took Potager to the Garden Day market at the Garden Route Botanical Gardens today. C was my hero by lugging product the short distance to the venue and setting up while I was in the garden harvesting and packaging some fresh produce.

It was a comparatively short day - 9 to 2 with a flurry of prepping and packing and unpacking either side.

We’re experiencing a drought at the moment so some very welcome morning rain meant that attendance was lower than normal. Our Garden Day celebrations were dampened - in a very fitting way. Gardeners love rain!

We had a brilliant day meeting lovely people and talking about pottery, and plants and gardens, and the tree frog that was found clinging to an orange tree … Oh, and I sold some pottery and plants too 😜😎. Thank you to all those who braved the weather to attend.
