Many entrepreneurs begin with an idea. The challenge is turning that idea into something people genuinely value.

This past weekend, participants in the 2026 MANCOSA Business Incubator reached an important milestone in their entrepreneurial journey as they explored how businesses create, deliver, and sustain value.

Through Session 9, entrepreneurs were challenged to think beyond their products and services and focus on the customer experience, the problem they are solving, and the unique value they bring to the market. Participants examined how the different parts of a business work together and how strong businesses are built around delivering meaningful value to the people they serve.

One of the key insights from the session was that customers do not choose businesses simply because they exist. They choose businesses that solve a problem, meet a need, or create value in a way that matters to them.

As participants continue developing their ventures, they are moving beyond ideas and beginning to build the foundations of businesses that are purposeful, relevant, and sustainable.
