The Department of Home Affairs in South Africa has published an Amendment to Immigration Directive No. 22 of 2025 extending a temporary concession for foreign nationals with pending waiver or appeal applications, granting a further extension until 31 March 2026 to allow the DHA to process these applications. This revision is effective from 1 October 2025.

We note that PR Appeal applications have been excluded from the extended concession.
