SBR Radiator Braces

This past weekend was the first round of the GXCC and Northern Regions Championships. The race didn’t go as planned, had a good start. I felt strong on my TRAX Moto GasGas EX450 and started to pace myself. As I was in the dust behind a fellow racer, he fell in a wash-away and I also went through it flat out, but on the other side he’s bike was laying on the ground and I couldn’t avoid a “T-bone” impact with his bike as they call it . And yeah, I basically hit his bike and I went over the bars, hard! Thanks to my EKS-brand goggles, it saved my face while face planting on something. My face was still fine and my bike hit me on the back. I started vomiting immediately. I was in so much pain and I just got back up and rode from there on to finish the race, bringing home a disappointing 8th place in the Pro Open OR1 class for the day.

The worst of the blue around my eyes are gone by today after the “face-plant” into the dirt. I will get back to you guys with an update, to see if I sustained any serious injury on my ribs, back and knee. Will be seeing my doctor later today for a check-up.
