Edwin's proficiency spans across multiple sectors, including offices, education, retail, residential, industrial, and public facilities. He also holds some experience in the field of Construction Project Management.
Throughout his career, Edwin has been involved in all aspects of the Quantity Surveying business and services, covering the entire spectrum from deal making and pre-contract work to contract administration and final accounts.

When asked about his decision to join the EQUATE team, Edwin expressed that his motivation was driven by the allure of being part of a well-established practice, the potential for personal and professional growth, the chance to work on diverse projects, and the opportunity to refine his expertise as a Quantity Surveyor.

Throughout his career, with notable achievements, Morné has gained an in-depth understanding of the Property Development sector and what drives it, with over 20 years of experience in the property industry. He
has spearheaded remarkable developments with some of the pioneering developers in the country.

His core knowledge of the development process and his passion for the financial aspects is what differentiates his ability to deliver end-to-end value from both a Quantity Surveying and Development Management front. Being a Registered Professional Quantity Surveyor, his extensive experience across many disciplines in the industry, and in various sectors such as Residential, Infrastructure, Commercial, Industrial, Hotels, and Retail, makes him a key attribute to the team. From his own pen; “My passion for buildings, cities, and people has taken me to several cities globally, including the USA, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. This has broadened my understanding of what makes people, buildings, and the spaces in between connect and co-exist, in a commercially viable context. My life goal is to fully understand how we can most
effectively connect our history, culture, and ideals with the future of South Africa's urban landscape.
