Rest in Peace, Dr Koos Shabangu

The General Public Service Sector Bargaining Council (GPSSBC) is deeply saddened by the passing of Dr Koos Shabangu, a respected representative of the Department of Social Development who served with distinction as an Employer Representative on the PSCBC Council.

Dr Shabangu dedicated his career to advancing sound labour relations and strengthening social dialogue within the public service. He always demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the principles of collective bargaining and effective public service governance.

The GPSSBC expresses its sincere appreciation for Dr Shabangu's dedicated service and invaluable contribution to the Bargaining Council and the broader public service.

On behalf of the GPSSBC Chairperson, General Secretary, Council Members, Management, and Staff, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Shabangu family, colleagues , friends, and all who had the privilege of working alongside him during this difficult time.
