According to a recent study by the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), the average case contains 6.5 M Pages, 10 to 15 Custodians, and 130 GB of data.

To try and put that into context, consider that one GB is approximately 100 000 pages of emails, 65 000 Word document pages, or about 678 000 text files per gigabyte. It’s an overwhelming amount of data and no wonder that relevant documents are not disclosed and non-relevant documents slip through.
