The Slick series incorporates a Teflon-coating process and is manufactured from premium polyethylene yarns offering superior durability and abrasion resistance.
Using a braid that has a good coating and 8 strands is a must.
The coating reduces friction between the fibers, water absorption, friction on guides when casting, and increases knot strength thus increasing longevity.
