Art meets danger, and someone paid millions

In 2019, Chinese digital artist Guo I D**g created a laptop infected with six of the world’s
deadliest computer viruses
He called it The Persistence of Chaos to make a statement about the dangers of the internet and cybercrime

The laptop sold at auction for approximately R21 million ($1.3 million)

To ensure it was safe, Guo loaded a special code to prevent the viruses from spreading to other networks
