🐷 PIGLET MANAGEMENT TIP: TEETH CLIPPING 🐷

Did you know that piglets are born with 8 sharp “needle teeth”? These teeth can injure the sow’s teats during nursing and may also cause injuries to littermates.

Teeth clipping is a common management practice carried out carefully during the first few days of life to reduce these injuries and help improve piglet welfare.
