Last month, we gathered with some of our Job Journey partners and trainers, not to teach, but to learn. To sit in the seats of our participants. To remember what it feels like to be asked, who are you, really?
What came out of that room was bigger than any training agenda. Stories of self-discovery, of breakthroughs in how they see themselves, and a deeper understanding of the people they serve every day. Minister David Maynier visited Silikamva High School this morning to recognise their 100% matric pass rate. From 40% six years ago to 100% today. The Minister highlighted what made it possible: excellent leadership, strong school culture, and the partnership model that supports collaboration schools like Silikamva, today Silikamva showed exactly why this partnership approach matters.
