2 days until the opening of The Weave Africa Exhibition at our Old Church Showroom in Woodstock.

Come and appreciate the woven works of Memory K***a and the women of her village in Zambia, alongside copper jewellery.

Together, these pieces celebrate traditional African techniques, materiality and the stories carried through making.

To be opened by Solly Levy, the afternoon will also feature a talk by Dawn Close of the Foundation for the Realization of Economic Empowerment (FREE), who will share insights into Zambian craft traditions and the broader geopolitical context in which these remarkable works are created.

Join us for 3 inspiring days of weaving with skilled basketry trainer and master weaver Memory K***a from Lusaka, Zambia.

From 10 - 12 June, Memory will share her knowledge of three different weaving techniques, including a beautiful coil weaving method that has been passed down through generations of skilled artisans.
