THE FIGHT CONTINUES. 💙🏉

When our own Jessie Schoeman stood before the Western Province U18 Girls at their 2026 Capping Ceremony, she didn't only speak as a captain.

She spoke as someone who has lived the journey.

A player who has experienced the challenges, the sacrifices, and the barriers that still exist for girls' rugby. Yet despite those challenges, she reminded every player in that room why the fight is worth it.

From captaining DF Akademie, representing Up and Under, wearing the Western Province jersey, and representing South Africa at U18 level, Jessie continues to prove what is possible when talent meets perseverance.

Her message is simple:
The opportunities may not always be equal.
The road may not always be easy.
But the fight continues.

At Up and Under, we remain committed to building stronger pathways, creating more opportunities, and ensuring that the next generation of girls have an even better future than the last.
