“Art is not what you see, but what you make others feel.” 💫
Last night at St George’s Cathedral, Progression V by felt less like a fashion show and more like a living, breathing testament to devotion. Beneath vaulted ceilings and the swell of an extraordinary choir, every look carried intention. Every stitch held story. I had the privilege of witnessing the blood, sweat and tears that shaped this body of work, so sitting there, wearing one of his garments, felt deeply personal.
There is something profoundly moving about seeing someone you love pour themselves into their craft and emerge with work that does not just clothe the body, but moves the spirit. These pieces are not simply garments, they are artworks. Sculptural, tender, deliberate. And how fitting that they unfold during , where the city hums with creativity.
I am so proud. So inspired. So enamoured by the vision, the discipline, and the courage it takes to present something this honest to the world.
Here’s to progression. To faith in your work. To art that resonates long after the final note fades 🥰

33. Seeing Double. Reframing Everything.
This year, I turn 33.
Not just older, but clearer.
Seeing double is no longer about confusion.
It is about perspective.
About holding two truths at once.
Who I was, and who I am becoming.
This year, I choose reframing.
Every past hurt becomes insight.
Every trauma, feedback from the universe.
Every moment that once felt heavy now teaches me how to float.
Submerged in water, I am reminded that even when life feels like it is pulling me under, I have always known how to breathe through it. Water does not drown me. It holds me. It cleanses me. It reflects me back to myself.
I honour every version of me that survived, softened, learned, and stayed open.
I thank every person who challenged me, loved me, left me, stayed, and shaped me. You all molded me into this moment, this body, this heart, this clarity.
At 33, I am not starting over.
I am arriving, reframed, doubled in wisdom, grounded in gratitude.
Here is to seeing life more clearly.
Here is to depth over fear.
Here is to becoming, again and again.
Happy Birthday To Me 🎈

Dearest gentle reader, the time has come to place our bets for the upcoming social season 💫
Spent the night looking for Brimsley & Reynolds after that season 3 finale where we learnt that “It is a dangerous thing, a secret”, no suitor but found some gems along the way… Lady Whistledown did not disappoint!
The theme was AfroCouture Masquerade, and combining Umbaco (a Fav) with a tailcoat blazer and cravat, in true regency era fashion and a Venetian mask to shake things up in only felt fair 😂
Here’s to a fabulous evening at the African Premier of Season 4, a time was had!!!
