We are looking for an Export Clerk with a minimum of 2 years experience, in the A-Z process of Sea & Air Exports. This includes certificates, Entries & Planning.

The team is currently working remotely in Cape Town on the Shipshape Platform

Applications with less than 2 years experience in Forwarding with not be reviewed.

We have a South African Customer who wishes to export a FCL of General Cargo using the Incoterm CIF Felixstowe. The cargo would be exported through Cape Town Harbor.

Cape Town Container Terminal productivity has been negatively impacted by COVID-19 related issues as well as preventative measures being put in place to deal with the current situation.

This has led to slower operations as well as berth congestion at the terminal. TPT has therefore declared force majure effective immediately.

This means from 01 June 2020 there will be no berthing windows as currently allocated to services, but berthing will be achieved on the basis of vessel ETA.

We will continue to keep you informed on the impact you consignments and services as well as contingency measures to deal with delays in order to maintain schedule integrity as far as possible.
