Medics In Motion

This year the weather was perfect for one of the oldest Trail Runs in South Africa having started in 1995 - the PUFfeR (Peninsula Ultra Fun Run) hosted by the Fish Hoek Athletic Club. This weekend we started by assisting the The Bridge House Mile and ended with the highlight of the SA cycling calendar the Cape Town Cycle Tour.
The races started late owing to the dark clouds but then the weather cleared and everything came together to ensure riders had perfect conditions and amazing scenery to enjoy the race to it's fullest.
It was a pleasure to once again be part of the team of 9 Emergency Medical Services supporting Mediclinic Southern Africa and ER24 EMS (Pty) Ltd. to cover the riders as they rode the scenic Cape Peninsula - well done to everyone!

If Champagne is your pleasure then the place to have been this weekend was the Franschhoek Cap Classique & Champagne Festival where even the weather was on it's best behaviour to ensure visitors enjoyed themselves.
