Computer diagnostics typically involve using software, hardware, part substitution, partial or complete disassembly, and knowledge accumulated over many years of experience.
Often times the diagnosis leads to the realization that the cost of repair exceeds the value of the computer diagnosed.
In this case, if the customer elects NOT to repair the computer, the shop still needs to collect the diagnostic fee for the time, effort and experience expended during the course of the diagnosis. This fee can be applied to the price of a new computer if the customer elects to purchase one through JK Computer Services.
*All diagnostic fees are waived if the customer elects to have JK Computer Services perform the necessary repairs.
