The Raven Report #005: Rust never sleeps.
The market is currently in a food coma.
Most of your competitors haven't opened a laptop in 72 hours. They are "switching off."
That sounds nice. But there is a problem.
A high-drive machine (like a business, or a Belgian Malinois) hates zero-momentum.
If I don't give Raven a job, she doesn't just "chill." She finds a job—usually dismantling a sprinkler system or pinching other things on the farm to leave outside as chew toys.
Entropy implies that anything left unattended starts to degrade.
While the world is sleeping, we are entering the Maintenance Phase.
We aren't launching campaigns today. We are cleaning the rifle.
We are purging the email lists.
We are fixing the broken links.
We are optimizing the automations.
When the bell rings on January 5th, the amateurs will be trying to "warm up" their cold engines.
We will already be at operating temperature.
