❄️ Misty mornings, green landscapes, and plenty of work behind the scenes.

Winter is when next summer's preparedness begins.

The Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) is where homes and communities meet natural vegetation such as fynbos, forests, and open spaces.

In the Western Cape, many properties border fire-prone landscapes, making them more vulnerable to veldfires.

⚠️ Veldfires cannot always be prevented, especially during hot, windy conditions.

That's why preparation is essential:
✅ Maintain defensible space
✅ Reduce fuel loads
✅ Clear invasive vegetation
✅ Keep access routes open

🔥 Living alongside nature comes with responsibility. Preparation today can reduce risk tomorrow.
