Help a Paw

Thank you to for this wonderful donation of beds, blankets, leads and food that they donated today at one of the Agility trials. In lieu of enterance fee for the fun event competitors were asked to bring any of their unwanted pet items for the street dogs and many donated food as well. We are going to hand this out as part of our Mandela day celebration - we are really gratefull for all of the support and a lot of the dogs are going to be spoilt, Thank you.

Leila and Tosca received an upgrade from that very broken kennel they were in - The place was really filthy where they were slepping so we waitied while the owner cleared the mess up so the dogs would at least have a clean area to sleep in - the amount of rats and filth sometimes is just too much to believe. At least now they have clean blankets and a warm bed.

Thank you for driving all the miles to drop some kennels off at Geraldine today - Two went out to dogs that had no shelter at all so they sleep warm tonight thanks to you - the third we will drop tomorrow.

This mom was on the receiving end of a group of boys who sliced her lip with a knife when she was protecting her pups - she is in for stitches. There is nothing worse that the boys that walk with golf clubs and pitbulls on short chains - they harm anything in their paths.

We stopped to check on the pup that was once chained to the toilet - she is looking just wonderful in her new home and very protective of her dad.
