Promethium Carbon

Yesterday Promethium Carbon attended the Extended National Climate Change Committee Workshop. Promethium and Urban-Econ have been appointed to undertake the socio-economic impact assessment of the National Climate Change Adaptation Strategy. Yesterday’s session was the first stakeholder engagement session for this project to identify inter alia risks, costs and benefits associated with the National Climate Change Adaptation Strategy.

Promethium attended the National Business Initiative 's launch of the Energy Efficiency Guide which was produced in partnership with Nedbank and Carbon Trust. The guide provides practical ways for improved business competiveness through energy efficiency and energy management. The event featured a talk on the macroeconomic energy environment in South Africa, the NBI’s plan for energy and energy efficiency initiatives over the next year, and a chapter by chapter description of the EE Guide. Energy efficiency can significantly enable companies to accelerate their transition towards a low carbon economy

Promethium is at the National Business Initiative's Roadshow on Aligning the Sustainable Development Goals to Business Strategy at Rosebank, Johannesburg. The Roadshow is designed to help attendees identify the strong business case for adopting and aligning your company’s strategy and core business activities to the SDGs.
