ZAKAATUL FITR HAMPERS DISTRIBUTION

🌙 Spreading Joy this Eid at Madinatu Nur Masjid 🌙

We are humbled to share that the Nur ul Huda Foundation has successfully begun the distribution of Zakatul Fitr hampers to our community members in Letlhabile. Seeing the smiles and relief on the faces of our community is a reminder of the power of collective compassion.

The Essence of Zakat:
Zakat is more than just a donation, it is a divine obligation and one of the Five Pillars of Islam.

Purification:
It cleanses our wealth and our souls from greed. With regard to Zakaatul Fitr, it also purifies our fast.

Social Justice:
It acts as a bridge, narrowing the gap between those who have and those who are in need, ensuring wealth circulates throughout the entire Ummah. Again with Zakatul Fitr in particular, is to ensure that no family is left behind during the festivities of Eid, and to ensure that every household gets a nutritious meal to celebrate the end of Ramadhan (month of fasting)

We were recently honored with a visit by our homegirl, Ipeleng Seboni. A renowned North West born Cattle farmer and Chairperson of North West Youth in Agriculture and Rural Development (Y A R D).

Our aim is to attract relevant stakeholders and work together to introduce and to conduct Agricultural skills in the townships.

More blessings to our sister for sacrificing her valuable time to come visit us. 🙏

💥 Another milestone reached 💥

Nur ul Huda Foundation has achieved the status of Public Benefit Organisation. This has been approved by the South African Revenue Services (SARS) due to the activities carried out by our Organization. This also means that our Organization will be exempt from income tax. Activities include, but are not limited to: 👇

- Land Development (1703 Block F)
- Establishment of a Centre/Mosque
- Afternoon Classes
- Establishment of a Food Garden/Farm
- Educating the youth on the dangers of substance abuse
- Skills Development through School Holidays Internships
- Youth Excursions
- Supplying Free Borehole water to the Community

The above mentioned points are a few of the goals we have achieved by far. It is evident that through Prayer, Hardwork, Dedication and Consistency, we can change the existing state of affairs in our communities. We aim to implement transparency in everything that we do.
