The final stage of TransCape 2023. An extraordinary week came to an end with the stage from Greyton Lodge to Gabriëlskloof Wine Estate, 59Km and 1100m of ascent. Congratulations to all the riders!

The penultimate stage of TransCape MTB brought with it clear skies to start with and a challenging westerly headwind as the riders cranked out of Swellendam along the foot of the Langeberg towards Riviersonderend and the finish in Greyton.

Stage Four of the TransCape MTB and the land of milk and honey. The sun decided to grace us with her presence today which brought smiles all round, especially Regan, who hails from Canada where the average temperature is minus plenty!
With low level bridges in flood, there was plenty opportunity to crank through the water at speed, impressing both the dairy cows and of course, the photographers. A first for TransCape MTB was a new finish of today's stage at Grootvadersbosch, and the Moody farm owned by Keith and Michele who have always been great supporters of this event. Once again the Toyota SA fleet performed flawlessly.
A quick transfer to Swellendam where Aan De Eike Guest House are our hosts this evening.
