It is with great sadness that we share with you that Johann Hugo our manager of many years passed away on Monday the 8th of June after a long illness. After being a very successful farmer in Worcester, Johnny retired in Kleinmond. We were lucky to get to know him in 2013 when helped transplant our olive trees and later become the manager at Waterleliefontein. With that we gained a great mentor and friend. His legacy is all around us, from the olive grove he carefully tended to his beloved vineyard. Our condolences and love to Ria and their wonderful family. Rest in peace Johnny in your new vineyard, you will always be missed by the Waterleliefontein team ❤️
