On the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month in 1918 the guns of WW 1 (the great war) went silent. Since then at that time, day and month people around the world observe a moment of silence out of respect for those who sacrificed their lives in wars and causes and wear poppy’s to show their respect. Let us remember them (humans and non-humans) on 11/11 by observing a moment of silence at 11 a.m.
