Today marked the successful conclusion of the Scriptwriting Workshops that took place at PACOFS from June 22 to 26, in collaboration with the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF).
It was genuinely uplifting to see the passion, creativity, and development of all the participants. They leave the workshop not only feeling accomplished but also armed with essential scriptwriting skills and a renewed confidence to embark on their storytelling adventures.
A sincere thank you to the National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) for joining forces with PACOFS to empower the youth of the Free State through skill development and creative opportunities.
Together, we can achieve more. Here’s to fostering a stronger, more dynamic South African film industry—one story at a time.
Celebrating Youth Month the PACOFS way!
Our staff took a trip down memory lane as they celebrated Youth Month by playing indigenous games we enjoyed growing up. The fun didn't stop there; staff members also dressed up in school uniforms and youth-inspired outfits from different eras, bringing back fond memories of their younger days.
Leading the festivities was our Acting CEO, Ms. Mandisa Tshikwatamba, who fully embraced the spirit of the day and had an amazing time participating in the activities alongside staff. It was a day filled with laughter, teamwork, nostalgia, and a reminder of the importance of preserving our cultural heritage and celebrating the youth within us all.
